ScopeBlue Yonder is looking for a Procurement Manager to execute Blue Yonder’s procurement and sourcing process in partnership with business teams. The position requires utilizing project management and analytical skills to identify business needs, source and secure goods or services, evaluate the financial impact of the purchase and finalize the purchase through contract negotiations. This position has an initial focus in the Contingent Worker area but will expand to other areas in the organization over time.Location: US-Remote with availability to travel up to 15% (Global & Domestic)What You’ll Do:Research procurement requirements using market research, engaging business owners, understanding company objectives and working other team members to ensure the application of good financial stewardship and common-sense decisioning to meet business needsUtilize experience in customer service, sourcing, procurement, and purchasing to engage external suppliers for the purpose of securing products and servicesUtilize financial analysis and basic business math to assist with understanding and reporting on the value of proposals, develop scorecards, rate terms, and identify deal points for business teamsDemonstrate a competent understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions to guide business teams away from risk situations to favorable business scenariosExecute through experience and technical skills the act of negotiating competitive contracts for BLUE YONDER, that leverage costs savings and incentives that are favorable to the companyDemonstrate the ability to give management updates or presentations on inflight or completed procurement projects highlighting critical business wins/losses, etcUsing initiative identify and recommend process improvement strategies for the procurement team and potential stakeholdersWhen required, lead team projects as well as assist with implementing new and innovative solution(s) for the procurement processWill be an integral part of the team helping to carry out company plans with a focus on transformation, and modernization of BY’s Culture and ProcessesWill participate in the creation of strategic plans as well as executing tactical implementations both independently and in coordination with supported teamsWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Technical Management, Information Technology, Finance or other relevant fields from an accredited university is preferredA minimum of 5 years working in a business or corporate environment, with experience in sourcing, procurement, finance, purchasing, customer services, sales, project management and customer service engagement is preferredFamiliarity with operating source-to-pay/procure-to-pay systems and software is a plusIntermediate understanding or comfort in reading and evaluating legal commercial termsOccasional travel for in-person meetings may be required from time to time#LI-Remote*LI-HB1-------------------------------------------The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $97,000The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
