You can even have a free trial to check it out 😊 About the role: As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with a growing team of backend and frontend engineers to continue building our end-to-end automation platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Build and manage automated API tests to be run as part of you CI/CD pipelines Design and develop new REST APIs for communicating with test runners and other infrastructure Prototype and build new features for easy creation of API tests via UI and AI Manage a dynamically-scaled infrastructure of containers for services and tasks Deliver working code on-time with clear documentation or other explanation Measure success and iterate on technical designs to improve outcomes for all stakeholders We are looking for you if you have: 3+ years in software development in a production environment Advanced programming skills in Scala or other functional programming language, Java, TypeScript, Node.js Strong understanding of HTTP, REST and the client/server architecture An experience with Docker and AWS Services like: ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Cognito, SQS Demonstrated ability of completing software projects, individually and as part of a team Demonstrated ability of taking ambiguous or ill-defined requirements and problem statements, and rapidly converting them into working code, with quality Strong communication skills and English on at least a B2 level Others nice to have skills: PostgreSQL, Flyway migrations Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO sbt, npm WebSocket We value intelligence, humility and hard work – after all, we’re solving complex technical problems!
