We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically minded Business Intelligence Analyst to support our rapidly scaling commercial organization. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining high-impact Power BI dashboards, curating and validating the commercial data assets that feed them, and contributing to the development of our enterprise data lake in partnership with IT, AI/ML, Finance, and Operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with solid business intuition. You are someone who can understand the why behind commercial metrics, translate business needs into scalable data models, and ensure the integrity and usability of our data. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development
Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards utilized by Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, Operations and the Executive leadership team
Translate business requirements into thoughtful visualizations, data hierarchies, KPIs, and drill-downs
Optimize models using DAX, Power Query, and best-practice design
Data Modeling & Quality
Curate, validate, and certify datasets used across commercial and corporate reporting
Perform data quality audits and ensure consistent metric definitions
Maintain semantic models and integrate new data sources
Data Lake & Infrastructure
Partner with IT, Data Engineering, and AI to support data lake architecture
Define ingestion requirements, transformations, and metadata
Act as commercial data owner for certified datasets (pipeline, bookings, revenue, usage, etc.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
Support FP&A, forecasting, and strategic analytics
Prepare structured data for AI/ML initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems or similar
1–5 years in BI, data analytics or reporting
Strong Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, modeling, visualization)
SQL proficiency and understanding of relational databases
Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.)
Excellent communication and business problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with Python/R or cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows
Life sciences or technology industry experience
Power BI certifications
The base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000 - $134,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
