Supports the overall team.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsInstalls cages, cabinets, cable containments, cabinets and customer equipmentInstalls & modify Cold Aisle Containments to ensure optimal Airflow Cross ConnectsInstalls/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: fiber, twisted pair copper and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Installs and test Data Center Link cross connects using FlukeTicket ManagementDetermines work priorities from the ticket system queue (eg. Siebel) and ensures adherence to all commitment timesTesting/TroubleshootingConducts carrier circuit testingDocumentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityFacility UpkeepSupport Facility Engineers by performing visual inspections while reporting and resolving issuesProjectsSupports senior staff on large scale projectsTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely manner.
