The Challenge
We’re looking for an Engineering Team Lead who’s as passionate about technology as they are about people. In this role, you’ll shape the long-term technical direction of your team, mentor talented engineers, and guide the delivery of high-impact, scalable products that power OneTrust’s global privacy and trust platform. You’ll balance strategic vision with hands-on execution — designing solutions, setting priorities, and leading by example to deliver excellence at scale.
Your Mission
As an Engineering Team Lead, you will:
Drive strategy and execution — define technical goals, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Design, architect, and implement enterprise-grade systems that are scalable, resilient, and secure.
Monitor performance and reliability , proactively identifying and resolving issues across systems and processes.
Champion DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and automation to enhance efficiency and delivery speed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Architects, and UX to translate ideas into impactful products.
Continuously innovate — introduce new technologies, tools, and processes to elevate engineering standards.
You Are
A strong technical leader who thrives on building both systems and teams. You combine deep engineering expertise with the ability to inspire others, make data-driven decisions, and deliver results. You’re as comfortable diving into code reviews and architecture sessions as you are setting strategy and mentoring future leaders.
Your Experience Includes
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
+6 years of engineering experience with a proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-grade software.
Hands-on experience leading software development teams or projects end-to-end — from planning to release.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud architectures.
Expertise in system design, distributed systems, and architecture best practices.
Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic, strategic approach.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Extra Awesome
Experience designing or scaling cloud-native services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Proven success in driving innovation and adopting new technologies across teams.
Passion for building large-scale, high-performance systems.
Experience developing onboarding or mentorship programs to grow engineering talent.
A natural facilitator who drives alignment and delivers results across diverse teams.
