What you will do
You will be a pivotal member of our dynamic team, operating in an agile and quickly changing environment. You will act as a strategic advisor, using your deep analytical expertise to guide decisions across the company. You will work in a diverse environment with
Your Analytics team members on core data initiatives and providing the strategic insights that support the entire organization
Product and Engineering on creating outstanding software
Sales and Marketing on optimizing and improving business performance
Management team on making better-informed decisions and develop strategies for the company's growth
Some of the tasks that we know you will be doing:
Collaborate with Product and other internal stakeholders to understand and define what data is essential to measure the impact of the work we are doing
Partner with Engineering on implementing the tracking needed to measure impact
Become an expert in translating what Product and Engineering teams are working onto into specific analysis, metrics or reports that yield actionable insights
Investigate data visualization needs of different teams and translate obtained insight into actions and present these to stakeholders
Enable stakeholders to access data and monitor key business metrics by being an expert in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Mixpanel and Amplitude
Create and present reports and ad-hoc analysis to management
Communicate and present complex analytical insights and recommendations to diverse audiences, including company-wide forums and leadership
Play a key role in the evolution of our data infrastructure, partnering with Engineering to define requirements, establish data models, and help build and maintain our data warehouse
Apply statistical modeling, AI, and machine learning techniques to move beyond descriptive analytics and provide predictive and prescriptive insights
Embrace and utilize AI tools in your daily workflow to enhance productivity and accelerate data-to-insight cycles
Partner with Product and Engineering teams on A/B test design and analyzing test results to measure the impact of changes, and make recommendations to stakeholders
What you will need
An education focused on Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is a plus
5+ years of professional experience in a data analytics role, with a strong preference for product, growth, or marketing analytics in a tech or SaaS environment
Excellent problem-solver & strong analytical skills
Ability to translate complex analysis findings into a clear narrative and actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, and collaborate
Proven expertise with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
Practical experience with a scripting language for data analysis (e.g., Python with pandas/NumPy/SciPy, or R).
Proficiency in SQL. You should be comfortable with complex queries and performance optimization
Proven experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), including involvement in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and schema design
Practical experience applying statistical models, AI, or machine learning techniques to answer business questions (e.g., forecasting, clustering, predictive modeling)
Experience in designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests using tools
Experience with BI and data visualization tools for building reports from data warehouse sources is a plus
Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus
