Regional Sales ManagerStatus: Exempt (salaried)                                                       Department: Sales Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive market growth. This role will be a key player in shaping our go-to-market strategy, building strong customer relationships, and translating market needs into tangible business results. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the whole sales cycle and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead our marketing and sales efforts to develop and communicate a deep understanding of our product portfolio and its applicabilityLead our market segmentation and promotion strategy, developing winning tactics for market developmentDeveloping and maintaining our ideal customer profile aligned with market trendsDrive lead generation, prospecting new opportunities in the market to build a robust pipelineQualifying leads for sales contactsMonitoring, Controlling and Reporting Sales FunnelsDrive meetings with prospects, understanding their needs, and translating them into project requirementsCommunicating with our product, service, and spare parts teams to develop a winning value proposition and present a technical and commercial proposal to our customersFollowing up proposals, handling objections and maximizing the value perception within our sales-qualified leadsLeading contract revisions and signatures (Including T&Cs)Handling-off EPC, services and spare parts projects to our operations teamEducation and Experience2+ years of Sales Management Experience in O&G Upstream marketExperience in complex topside FPSO engineering systems will be a differentialEngineering University degreeFluently (written and speech) in Portuguese and Business-level EnglishBeing able to work on companies-customized SAP application will be a differentialStrong negotiations skills and entrepreneurial behavior – ability to work independently.Team player skillsPro-active attitudeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailResults-oriented and driven work styleExcellent task-oriented follow-throughPlug Power, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
