Whether you're a recent graduate or new to your career, if you’re eager to learn and bring a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!This role involves hands-on technical work in a data center environment, supporting installations, troubleshooting, and customer service — all within standard operating procedures.Key Responsibilities:Queue Management & ReportingReview and respond to work order requestsEscalate non-standard issues appropriatelyMaintain accurate records and update asset systemsInstallationsRack and stack customer equipmentAssist with infrastructure installs (fiber trays, ladder racks, cabinets)Perform tape changes and backupsCross-Connects, Testing & TroubleshootingSupport installs, terminations, and testing of coax, fiber, and copper connectionsLearn to install more complex circuits under supervisionConduct layer 1 certification testingAssist with basic troubleshooting and learn advanced testing methodsStakeholder & Customer SupportProvide access control and escorting servicesDeliver excellent customer service and timely updatesSupport operations and security teams as neededTraining, projects & auditsAssist with standard projects and vendor coordinationSupport physical audits and documentationComplete assigned trainingHelp onboard new team membersQualifications, Key Skills & Attributes:Degree or Certifications in relevant industry1–2 years of relevant experience (or strong interest in IT/data center work)Graduates and career starters welcomeInterest in IT, hardware, or telco environmentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityWillingness to learn and follow proceduresTeam-oriented with a customer-first mindsetReliable, proactive, and safety-consciousEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
