Partners with key stakeholders in the organization to ensure accurate, consistent, and high quality responses and documentation. Manages the deal qualification process with engagement of Sales, Sales Engineers, Commercial Solutions, Legal, etc. Maintains and develops the bid management proposal system, allowing Sales to utilize for self service purposes, as appropriate.ResponsibilitiesDeal QualificationResponsible for providing support at all stages of the bid cycle, including bid Management and bid coordinationFacilitates, coordinates, and chairs panel meetings (Go/No Go and sign off) in accordance with Global Bid Management proceduresWorks and collaborates with Commercial Solutions team by scheduling and organizing regional Deal Reviews and all necessary approvals for the dealLogs risk and assumptions on strategyBid Management ProcessManages and orchestrates complex, multi-regional RFxManages the end to end bid process, ensuring bid procedures are adhered toDesigns and develops templates, documents, policies, and procedures to define and support the bid processActs as subject-matter-expert in the bid Management processArranges, determines, and chairs bid process meetings, including kick off, midpoint, approval meetingsDetermines timelines and responsibilities for bid activitiesManages the end to end bid process, ensuring bid procedures are adhered toIdentifies and facilitates collaboration of resources and expertise as required by maintaining bid budget and project Manages the virtual teams involved in the RFx developmentFacilitates collaboration with the virtual teams involved in the RFx developmentEngages in close liaison with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure all information is accurate and communicates/manages where gaps exist to the pursuit teamApplies risk tracking and Management throughout the bid processReports on bid activity, identifying areas of strength and weakness and sharing this information to drive continuous improvement of the bidConducts the 5’P (Storyboarding, competitive analysis, win strategy, commercial strategy)Prepares high quality bid documents to ensure consistency across the bid in style, format, and language to align to overall bid strategy through value propositions and win themesCreates Methodologies and executive summariesGuides stakeholders with the creation of a blend of bespoke prospect focused RFxContributes to the written document when required – for both the bid document and presentationReviews, drafts, and effects improvement through quality control and proceduresDrives and chairs the final reviews in accordance with Winning Color Team ReviewsFacilitates and drives BAFO response and any prospect clarification questions in a professional, seamless customer experience approachFacilitates and drives stakeholders with prospect follow up bid presentationProcess ImprovementDevelops RFxs content in collaboration with other Business UnitsSupports and coordinates the Lesson Learned, in order to drive future improvementsSeeks continuous improvement in the bid process, bringing in best practicesSales EnablementSupports the market business unit to create bespoke industry trend proposalsQualifications3+ years experience preferredBachelor's degree preferredAPMP or other recognized industry qualifications certification preferredThe United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $84,000 to $126,000 per year • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $77,000 to $115,000 per year • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $70,000 to $104,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
