Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market. Sets the vision and strategy for their product ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer-centric. Manages the product roadmap including features, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Works cross functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, marketing and others to design, build and launch new products and/or product features.ResponsibilitiesProduct Lifecycle ManagementExecutes on the defined strategy and vision for a productProduct Strategy, Vision and RoadmapGathers, documents, designs and tests the best possible customer experience and incorporates the voice of the customer into the product roadmapInvolves engineers, designers and others to create a shared vision and clear goals for the product, including a well-defined product roadmapMarket, Competitive and Customer AnalysisResearches competitors and verticals; prepares more complex reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potentialBusiness Case DevelopmentCreates and collaborates on the financial business models, conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with the leadership teamProduct PerformanceDefines metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvementsCross Functional CollaborationDesigns product training curriculum; leads cross-functional trainings and meetingsNew Partner Identification and EngagementIdentifies and collaborates with partners to enhance the productBacklog PrioritizationCreates backlogs, working regularly with the team to refine and add detail where neededCollaborates closely with technology teamsTest Case Definition and UAT CoordinationLeads definition of allowable configurations, test cases and executes UATStakeholder ManagementManages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functionsIdentifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectivelyUnderstands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationshipsUtilizes effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approach accordinglyQualifications7+ years experience preferredBachelor's degree preferredThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 131,000 - 181,000 CAD / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
