Why Box needs you: Our Threat Protection team is dedicated to empowering Box administrators with the tools they need to ensure the security of our platform. We offer a comprehensive collection of features that provide timely security alerts and effective response actions in the face of potential threats. Our feature-set can be divided into two main areas: Anomaly Detection and Malware Detection.   Who you are:    5+ years of professional software development experience Be proficient in JavaScript, NodeJS and React Interest in security topics (authentication, identity, industry best practices, etc.) Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner  Must speak English proficiently  Nice to have: Java, PHP, C#, Node.js, React.js, Python, Ruby or other modern software development language Practical experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes You will be expected to:  Attend and engage in stand ups and maintain sprint task statuses in issue tracking tool daily Attend team, project, and manager 1:1 meetings weekly Collaborate with Product Management to help refine requirements and break down complex projects into meaningful, deliverable units  Work collaboratively with other engineers, team members, across teams, and with partner organizations Respond to technical and behavioral feedback from manager and peers Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture Represent Box Poland internally and externalls Participate in the production on-call rotation with the team members Methodology: Agile management - Scrum Issue tracking tool - Jira Knowledge repository - Confluence Code reviews - GitHubEntreprise  Version control system - GIT BENEFITS Check out the overview of the  benefits and additional perks offered at Box.
