We are also a top-ranked company on Glassdoor.We're seeking a Sales Manager focused on developing new customers, greenfield markets and supporting existing Calix customers.You will work with our existing teams to support these customers while also targeting new prospects in the region. This position will be based remotely in the South Africa region. In coordination with the strategy laid out by the regional sales leadership team, you be an instrumental part of the Calix team.Your focus will be to build a local strategy to enhance Calix penetration in the market by developing the Calix brand, winning greenfield operators, winning new accounts for Calix and extending Calix portfolio in existing accounts. This includes managing the complete and complex sales-cycle, ensuring Calix is positively positioned to win new business in new accounts, growing revenue, locking out competition and uncovering new opportunities within each account.Qualifications:5+ years of quota carrying value-based technology sales and market development experienceIn-depth understanding of Broadband Service Provider business in the Africa RegionProven record of winning new accounts, not only managing existing relationshipsTrack record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positionsComfortable and compelling both on the phone, and in the boardroomConsistent earnings history representative of plan over-achievementCandidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external.  Desired Experience:Cloud, Software, Systems and Services sales experienceService Provider networking understandingExperience selling into new and greenfield Solution Provider customersBachelor or University Degree strongly preferred  Regional Travel is required, approximately 50%-75%  Location: Remote-based position in South Africa#LI-Remote
