There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.WHAT YOU’LL DOLearn the development of new and innovative power electronic concepts to charge and power Sonos’ Portable/Wearable productsParticipate in the implementation of highly efficient wired and wireless charging solutions to deliver unmatched consumer experiences Contribute to the creation of new features and help integrating new/existing technologiesDebug complex low-level problems that may span interfaces between hardware & softwareCo-develop algorithms, state-transition flowcharts, and analysis for each regime of operationPower Electronics Schematic and PCB layout design and reviewDefine HW verification tests, develop new test methodologies, and derive test limitsWork with development partners/peers to perform failure analysis and corrective actionsSKILLS AND ATTRIBUTESBasic Qualifications include:Highly motivated to learn, passionate about electronics, and a strong sense of ownershipUndergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering taking or plan to take the following major courses:Circuit theory Power ElectronicsComputer Systems EngineeringComputer Organization and DesignPreferred Qualifications would include basic understanding of these Engineering Topics Ability to use electrical simulation and analysis tools such as SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with electronics test equipmentHighly motivated to learn, passionate about electronics, and a strong sense of ownershipSolid understanding of LinuxBasic understanding of embedded system design PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONSCurrently enrolled in a College or University with a preferred field of study in Electrical EngineeringAvailable to participate in our full-time co-op program from January-June 2026Ability to work out of our Boston office a minimum 4 days per weekApplicants must be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future.
