You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.Job SummaryThe Tax Senior Manager is responsible for assisting European tax planning and implementation, addressing tax technical issues and carrying out special projects.ResponsibilitiesStrategy and PlanningAssists in tax planning for business transactions, M&A and real estate transactions, including integrationIdentifies and solves tax issues related to on-going routine business activities to improve tax efficiency of the CompanyLeads technical tax research and manages external tax advisors in EMEARisk ManagementMonitors and helps mitigates overall tax risks of the Region, including direct tax and indirect taxesTax ReturnsProvides technical tax research and support for filing of tax returns of the RegionProvides technical tax research and support for tax examinations within the RegionTax technical matters in EMEAProvides technical tax research and support for the Company’s transfer pricing, commissionaire structure and REIT matters in EMEAWorks with outside consultants pertaining to complex and significant tax issuesTax Accounting, local stat booksProvides technical tax research and support for tax provision process for local financial statement reporting purposesBusiness DevelopmentDevelops and maintains relationships with business partners in EMEAContinued EducationContinues to develop and apply technical expertise's and stay current on tax issuesREIT complianceApplies REIT tax rules to common transactions to ensure REIT related risks are coveredQualificationsProven years plus working experience with BIG 4 and/or corporate tax departmentBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredCPA/Chartered Accountant/Equivalent certification preferredProficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and WordEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
