About the Role:  Tubi is seeking a strategic and agile HR Director to help us build a world-class People team that is responsible for providing high-quality support to employees in close partnership with People functions such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace.  This individual will support the efforts to launch and scale the new Tubi Media Group (TMG) hub in Toronto with end-to-end responsibility for employee lifecycle management, shaping the office culture, and establishing Tubi’s long-term presence in Toronto. This role is critical to our ability to successfully support and scale a fast-moving, high-performing organization from the ground up. You will have a direct impact on the employee experience at Tubi, so come bring your bright ideas to the team! This position is an individual contributor role that reports to our VP of People. It will be hybrid and based in Toronto. What You'll Do: Partner with Toronto site lead(s) to launch our newest tech hub - will be responsible for growth, talent, culture, and alignment with Tubi functions Collaborate with cross-functional management to support initiatives by understanding organizational objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors  Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to all levels  Develop and lead key talent initiatives, including leadership development, employee engagement/enablement, and career pathing Design and drive the programs to shape and reinforce our cultural values and mission Manage our annual talent cycle, inclusive of compensation planning and execution Manage compliance programs, including annual reporting, mandatory filings, policy updates, and employee training Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement sound solutions Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to drive efficiencies and simplify workflows Manage the administrative responsibilities of the People Operations team, performing operational duties required to keep our processes running efficiently and effectively Support our onboarding program to ensure seamless integration of new hires into Tubi’s culture and community Conduct off-boarding, analyze trends, and share opportunities with executives to influence/inform decisions More About You: You can successfully strike the right balance of being an advisor to the business, but also an advocate for employees You will be a whiz with project management, change management, and driving programs independently You are hyper-focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of the Technology and Media space, understanding trends, and bringing great ideas to the table Understand people dynamics, organizational strategy, and talent processes You're able to negotiate sensitive situations with confidence and finesse You can hit the ground running with little guidance/direction  You are not afraid to speak out and shape high-visibility programs/initiatives Collaborative team player who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves Your Background: 7+ years of HR or People Operations experience within a high-growth company 2+ years supporting technical functions like Engineering and Product 2+ years of designing and implementing talent management and employee experience programs Experience supporting tech organizations and coaching executives Experience and knowledge of employment law in Canada and working in global companies Experience creating, owning, and driving strategic company-wide initiatives and programs Passionate about company culture and experienced in shaping the right values Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems Strong track record of using HR data to drive solutions Proven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experience Knowledge and experience with HR tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management/reporting techniques Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams Workday experience; other HRIS systems a plus BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university preferred Strong business acumen and writing skills Proficient with Internet and email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. #LI-CN1 #LI-Hybrid Tubi is a division of Fox Corporation, and the FOX Employee Benefits summarized  here , covers the majority of all US employee benefits.  The following distinctions below outline the differences between the Tubi and FOX benefits: For US-based non-exempt Tubi employees, the FOX Employee Benefits summary accurately captures the Vacation and Sick Time.
