The Human Resources Intern supports the People & Operations team by assisting with employee-led programs and operational projects. You will gain hands-on experience in HR processes, data accuracy, and employee support while contributing to initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency.What You'll DoCollect, review, and process pre-employment paperwork in accordance with company policiesCoordinate and review background screenings to ensure compliance with HR standardsCreate, maintain, and organize employee personnel files and documentationUpdate and maintain HRIS data to support accurate payroll processing and reportingAssist with responding to employee questions and requests in a timely mannerDevelop templates, tools, and communications to drive consistency in HR processes, deliverables, and stakeholder alignmentIdentify gaps in HR deliverables or needs and propose solutions to improve efficiencyContribute to HR operations projects that improve processes and support employee programsWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related programPreferred QualificationsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvementThe ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyExperience dealing with confidential and sensitive informationTravel Requirements & Working ConditionsMinimal travelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva officeSponsorship RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future When can you expect to hear back?We are committed to attending all career fairs and recruitment events before closing our positions.
