The Financial Reporting Intern supports the Professional Services team by applying XBRL tagging to documents and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will create and implement SEC reporting files for public companies, ensuring accuracy before filing deadlines.What You'll DoCreate and implement SEC reporting files for public companies using industry-leading softwareApply XBRL tagging information to financial statements and statement footnotesTie-out XBRL tagging information within financial statements and statement footnotes to ensure accuracy prior to filing deadlineSupport Customer Success Managers, Professional Services Managers, and Directors while learning the core aspects of each positionTest features for Quality Assurance purposes and work with teams on special projectsWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Accounting or a similar program; GPA of 3.2+ preferredPreferred QualificationsTechnically savvy and demonstrate a high level of competency using spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation softwareStrong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership positions in community, school, or other programsProfessional, outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeAttention to detail and follow-through are requiredExperience using Excel, Word, Google Docs, and similar word processing programsTravel Requirements & Working ConditionsMinimal travel Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva officeSponsorship RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the futureWhen can you expect to hear back?We are committed to attending all career fairs and recruitment events before closing our positions.
