You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.Job SummaryConducts circuit maintenance, installations, and advanced testing.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsRacks and stacks customer equipmentInstalls intra-cage fiber tray, ladder rack, customer equipment and cabinetsInfrastructure installs to include the following: whalebone cable management, public fiber tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power trays, security trays, cash meshQueue ManagementDetermines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit timesTesting/TroubleshootingConducts carrier circuit testingCross ConnectsInstalls/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Installs and test Data Center Link cross connects (T1, DS3, OC3-48, Eth, GigE, 10Gig)Documentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityProjectsSupports fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staffTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely mannerCustomer ManagementSupports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order executionQualifications1+ years experienceHigh School DiplomaBERT and SONET test equipmentEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
