As the Sr. Director, Global Regional Marketing & Events, you will play an integral role as a member of the marketing leadership team. You will lead and manage a high-performing team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, driving lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and revenue growth through strategic regional field marketing programs and impactful global events. This role develops and executes a comprehensive regional marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives, collaborating closely with other marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns that support our sales objectives. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, this leader leverages analytics to measure program effectiveness, optimizes resource allocation, and ensure brand consistency while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the field marketing and events organization.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a global team of regional marketers across Americas, EMEA, and APAC, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
Develop and execute a comprehensive global & regional marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives, driving lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and revenue growth.
Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of regional marketing programs, including regional digital campaigns, email, nurture programs, webinars, executive roundtables, industry events and more to drive customer and prospect engagement.
Direct the development and execution of a global events strategy, including trade shows, conferences, and Coursera-hosted events, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and marketing goals.
Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing investments across all regions and events.
Collaborate and communicate closely with sales, product marketing, and global marketing teams to develop integrated marketing programs that support regional business objectives and drive customer acquisition and retention. Providing insights on campaign, program and event performance.
Global travel will be required for industry events, client meetings, and team offsites (estimated 40% travel)
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years Enterprise SaaS global marketing experience in a fast-growth, highly matrixed environment
7+ years experience leading global events
8+ years of experience in a Marketing team leadership - ideally across multiple geographic regions
Must be in Central OR Eastern Time Zone
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years of Enterprise SaaS global marketing experience in a fast-growth, highly matrixed environment
Proven experience building high performing and highly collaborative teams, ability to travel internationally to support region field marketing teams and key events
Proven experience across regional marketing and events disciplines along with experience working closely with sales teams
Proven experience engaging, collaborating and communicating at all levels of the organization including cross functional teams, executive leadership and customers, prospects and partners
Proven experience working in a highly matrixed environment, including expertise in leading through others and a track record of leading successful cross-functional programs with measurable success
Proven experience leveraging data driven decision making skills to optimize marketing results to support scalable growth

Salary is just one component of Coursera’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for a bonus program and equity in the form of RSU’s.
