Equinix enables organizations to access all the right places, partners and possibilities to scale with agility, speed the launch of digital services, deliver world-class experiences and multiply their value, while supporting their sustainability goals.  A career at Equinix means you will collaborate on work that impacts the world and be surrounded by endless opportunities to learn new skills and grow in varied directions. We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. Job SummaryThe Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDNA) team is the centralized data and analytics organization at Equinix chartered with unlocking the power of data to drive decisions across our business.  We are looking for a Sr. Manager to join the Enterprise Insights and Analytics team, a “Special Forces” function within EDNA that applies a mix of strategy consulting, technical, implementation and presentation skills to advise our senior executives on the organization’s most strategic and highest priority challenges. The ideal candidate for the role will have the mind of a management consultant, the heart of a business analyst and an eye of an artist.  Your responsibilities are to develop, implement and scale analytics deliverables that inform critical business strategies through transformative analytics.  You will be challenged to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and deliver insights through compelling presentations, dashboards, or visualizations.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business drivers and derive insights to be presented in Rhythm of Business meetings like EPR, QBR, MBR that guides key go-to-market decisionsFormulate hypothesis, develop presentation storyboard, and implement end-to-end analysis on consultative projects for EDNA’s executive stakeholdersPresent complex insights in a compelling and consumable format for executives, either through the help of data visuals, PPT, or through a simple document.Build robust financial models and business cases to simulate complex business scenarios, evaluate strategic options, and assess financial and operational impactOwn the design and development of Enterprise dashboards, other forms of performance trackers to present insightful findings in a visually compelling manner that helps leadership understand root cause issuesManage reporting and business analysts on the team to implement large scale analytics projects such as the quarterly/monthly operating reviews – the authoritative bible on the health of our business that guides key go-to-market decisionsQualifications7-10 years of professional experience at a large, established multinational companies (e.g. Fortune 500 or Global 2000) in an analytics role such as business analysis or data analytics; background in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.), or “bizops” functions (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) preferredBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, etc.) from a top tier university; MBA graduate from a top-tier B-school or similar academic credentials preferredDeep business acumen: able to command a deep understanding of the business questions that need to be answered through analyticsHighly analytical: experienced in decomposing and solving real world business problems through relevant data and analytical frameworksCreative data visualization: skilled at synthesizing complex ideas and large amounts of data into compelling stories through elegant yet powerful visualsAbility to lead and coach analysts to project completions, preparing QBR data and implementing analytics.
