Businesses need one place to simplify hybrid multicloud architectures and interconnect digital and physical assets. Our global platform allows customers to place infrastructure wherever they need it and connect it to everything they need to succeed. We’re looking for a Product Manager to help drive growth of our Equinix Fabric product business. You will work closely with customers and partners to understand business needs, use cases and develop a growth strategy to support this business. You will both develop business cases and feature enhancements for the product roadmap, provide regular reporting to the business on growth areas, opportunities, challenges and return-on-investment, and provide ongoing support of activities associated with managing a large growth product business.Additional responsibilities include working with internal stakeholders to promote a commercial growth strategy, participating and attending conferences and other industry events, and acting as an overall evangelist for the Equinix Fabric product globally.At Equinix, we help the world’s digital leaders scale with agility, speed the launch of digital services, deliver extraordinary experiences, and transform people’s lives. We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.  Responsibilities Support the growth of the overall Equinix Fabric business particularly in the areas of sales and marketing support, commercial enhancements and network-as-a-service feature development.Collaborate with product engineering, network architects, network deployment, and service delivery teams in the rollout of new offers, releases, and markets related to Equinix FabricRun the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor critical metrics; implement course corrections as needed  Partner with Solutions Architects, Sales and Business Development leaders to meet with interested customers to help communicate the overall value of Equinix Fabric and understand their business needs to help shape the direction of the productProvide customer and partner briefings and serve as an evangelist particularly for the Network Service Provider (telco) vertical Perform pricing evaluation and coordinate price changes  Participate in cross-functional training and meetings  Build knowledge of common use cases and lead magnets for Equinix Fabric and work with product marketing to communicate both internally and externallyPartner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience  Manage the backlog: Prioritize critical features based on analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort  Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements  Qualifications  Minimum of 7 years of experience in a software defined network infrastructure product management role or a combination of 5 years of product management experience and experience in network engineering/architectureBachelor’s degree in CS, EE or relevant field of study; MBA preferred  Experience building end to end software for cloud networks, virtualization, networking, etc. Experience in API lifecycle managementKnowledge of data center digital infrastructure capabilities and the value of interconnection within this ecosystem  Passion for learning & mastering new technologies and bringing them together to build end-to-end solutions that meet customer needsApproximately 10-15% travel for external or internal meetings and industry conferencesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
