Product Design Intern

The Uniswap Protocol is the largest decentralized trading and automated market making protocol (often called a DEX, “Decentralized Exchange”) on Ethereum.   The Uniswap Labs team was a major contributor to the Uniswap Protocol and now focuses on building a suite of products to support the Uniswap Labs ecosystem. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated product design intern to help us build the next generation of financial products. As an intern, you will get a chance to touch all parts of the product design process. You will be part of all the conversations from idea, design, and execution. You will be responsible (with support from a mentor) for ensuring high-quality design solutions. Location and timing: The Design Internship will take place in New York City at our office in Soho during the summer of 2024 .  Responsibilities: Collaborate with the design team and cross-functional partners to generate design concepts based on project requirements Create cohesive designs within a design system Prepare design specs for implementation Requirements: Proficiency with Figma Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative design solutions Excitement to learn and contribute to Uniswap, DeFi, NFTs Eagerness to hone design capabilities Studying Graphic Design, Product Design, HCI, or a related field Nice to have: Personal projects or work experience with DeFi/crypto tools Past internship within a part of a product design team Motion design experience Hourly rate of $50.
