Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Contracts professional with extensive experience with all matters related to contracting with customers and partners, working with Sales and Alliance teams, and improving the process to do so for a software as a service and professional services organization. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Contracts in the Legal Department.What You’ll Do: Function as a direct line negotiator, draft, and finalize all types of agreements such as, License Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, Statements of Work, Order Schedules, NDA’s, and Reseller Agreements with CrowdStrike customers and partners.Ensure that contractual terms and provisions meet and follow corporate processes, guidelines, and policies.Interact with CrowdStrike Legal and company cross functional teams (i.e., finance, customer support, information security, compliance and other internal stakeholders) to ensure that the company legal and financial positions are maintained and approved in CrowdStrike agreements.Develop and maintain template negotiation and decision history for agreements including utilizing many levels of associated fall-back language as provided by Legal.Understand and be conversant in basic privacy concepts and laws. Update commercial Legal management as necessary on status and developments.. Be eager to work with Sales and Alliances maintaining a helpful and positive demeanour.Respond promptly to internal and external requests and work under pressure on time sensitive issues while juggling multiple priorities.Identify and drive process improvement, including developing and maintaining playbooks. Escalate to appropriate Legal colleague when significant legal or financial risk is identified. Ensure contracting compliance and appropriate prioritization and execution with the assigned work and tasks. Ensure proper filing, completion and status reporting of all agreements within approved company systems.Assist fellow CrowdStrikers, Customers and Partners with contracting process and general questions pertaining to Legal.Generally support the legal team under the direction of the Sr. Director, Contracts, or other legal department designee.What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) and 7+ years direct contracting experience, with significant experience in the software-as-a-service or software industry; or Master’s degree and 5+ years direct contracting experience with significant experience in the software-as-a-service or software industryStrong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to negotiate and draft from cradle to grave, large, complex product and services (specifically, cloud-based software and professional services) agreements with customers and partners.Strong time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.Highly skilled in conflict resolution with the ability to resolve problems independently.Demonstrate a high level of adaptability in dealing with ambiguous and complex work environment and balance multiples demands on role in a responsive and professional manner.Ability to multi-task within and across projects, prioritize and manage timelines effectively.Knowledge of working in contract lifecycle management systems.Ability to sustain high levels of performance in a constantly changing environment.Innovative, proactive, and motivated, with a focus on continuous improvement and a strong desire to succeed.You must love our business.
