Global HR Compliance & Crisis Senior ManagerDescription -Collaborates across the Human Resource function and businesses in the design and deployment of labor relations, employee relations, compliance and crisis management strategies, policies, programs and services consistent with HP business and HR priorities across the functions and/or geographies. Consults with human resource partners to develop, plan and implement solutions to address unique organizational needs and requirements. Leads the human resources assigned investigations and management of executive escalations, disciplinary policies, procedures and practices. Development, deployment and overall management of HP's Employee Representatives Groups, including works councils, unions etc. Ensures the engagement, I&C requirements and frameworks are in place in the pursuit of a collaborative relationship in the interest of our employees and our businesses. Examines impact of company agreements to ensure HP business priorities and our ability to compete in the local markets remains a priority.  Monitors legislation changes that affect HR programs, processes and/or polices and partners legal and country teams to determine the impact and project manages the implementation to ensure compliance. Manages the HR Global Policy change framework, statutory training, RBA & Human Rights audit activity, Employee Background Screening, Affirmative Action and the Crisis Management program on behalf of the HR function.  Responsibilities:Leads the Global Human Resource Compliance function across the geographies in the management, design and administration of HP's Global Compliance frameworks, programs, policies and procedures ensuring internal and external commitments and compliance requirements are met.Manages a team of HR Compliance managers in the delivery of internal and external audit activity on behalf of the Human Resource Function including, Human Rights and Reasonable Business Alliance.Management of the vendor and internal partner relationships in the delivery of Affirmative Action and Statutory HR Training.  Accountable for HP's HR Policy Management, Legislation Change Management programs and HP's Contingent Workforce Compliance Policy and program.Provides input into and deploys the HR Compliance strategy, priorities and programs across the geographies.Manages a team of global, regional and country resources that manage HP's relationship with Employee Representatives (Works Councils, Unions etc) on behalf of HP.Oversees all negotiations and is accountable for the negotiation strategy, proposals and outcomes.Accountable for ensuring compliance requirements are identified and met as it relates to information, consultation and negotiations with works councils and unions across the geographies in which we operate.Partners closely with the business, cross functional teams and Human Resources to ensure the implementation of the global and local business aligned labor relations strategy is deployed across the geographies ensuring business flexibility and competitiveness in the local market.  Ensures the direct relationship between our employees and the company is maintained.   Leads and program manages MADO, OD&S, C&B, Sales Compensations program change activities as it relates to information & consultation.Acts as an senior partner and consultant to our business leaders and Human Resource partners regarding all matters concerning labor relations.  Manages the relationship and financial spend globally with HP's labor relations vendors.Develops and establishes minimum operational standards, practices and guidelines in line with Integrity at HP and local employment (misconduct/disciplinary) regulations and rules of employment.Leads a team of global employee relations investigators who manage the end to end investigations assigned by HP's Ethics Office.Ensures the established standards, practices and guidelines are implemented across the geographies.Partners the Employment Law function to keep abreast of case law pertaining to employee relations matters and outline the local legal requirements regarding disciplinary sanctions and procedures as it relates to misconduct.Manages complex HR escalations and partners employment law, ECO, Integrity Councils and HR in the review of case findings and proposed HR recommendations.  Accountable for the labor relations assessments, reporting and ensures disciplinary policies, procedures, practices and documentation meet all local requirements and are kept up to date.May represent HP in cases where the matter is referred to a tribunal, mediation and/or mediation.  Accountable for monitoring the changing internal and external environment regarding employee relation matters.Knowledge and Skills:Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and management.Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Experienced in managing human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
