Job Summary:JOB DESCRIPTION – Event Programmer - Spanish speakingLocation: BarcelonaDivision: Ticketmaster SpainLine Manager: Event Programming ManagerContract Terms: 40 hours per weekTHE TEAMEvent Programming are responsible for setting up events for all Ticketmaster’s clients across Spain. We work closely with the Clients, Client Support Managers and venues to ensure that we have all the information we need in order to create the events ready for sale to the fans.THE JOBYou will be a member of the Maps team, inside the Event Programming area, in charge of Maps creation, modification and optimization.Besides your Maps duties, you will support the rest of the Event Programming team in helping Ticketmaster clients in all their event management needs, mainly:Building new events to be sold across all Ticketmaster sales channels.Making updates to events based on work requests from clients or internal Client Support Managers.This takes the form of manipulating and entering data into the Ticketmaster system using a bespoke command and response programming language and various other software applications.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGMaps duties:Graphical design of venue-level seat maps, translating reference materials (excel files, screenshots, pictures) into complete and accurate section data.Designing seat maps and link to section dataTroubleshooting issues with seat maps.Liaison with the International Global Maps team for coordination around Interactive Seat MapsMaintain a structured content library to aggregate content.Creation of edition of Attraction pages by using image editing software.Other Event Programming duties:Prepare, create, check and maintain simple to medium complex events and offers ensuring all work is programmed accurately.Liaise effectively with internal departments and external clients to make sure all events are set up correctly to meet the client’s needs in a timely mannerAnd:Analyse and organise individual workload employing strong attention to detail.Work in a time-pressured environment whilst maintaining a high level of service.Working flexible hours as required.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)Design skills and spatial vision.Image editing software knowledge at a user levelExcel knowledge at an advance levelExcellent organizational skills and eye for detail.Accurate data entry speedAble to successfully handle multiple prioritiesHigh degree creativity, latitude, and problem solving is requiredBox Office experience a plusOverall awareness of the entertainment business is a plusMust have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule.High English levelYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)Reliability – Ability to earn the trust of co-workers and clients, by:setting clear expectations.delivering high quality work on time and on task.taking the time to do things right.Solution Driven – Ability to find creative solutions to problems by:researching.reviewing what have been done in the past in similar situations.asking guidance to internal experts that can find alternative and effective solutions to any limitations.Teamwork – Working as part of a team to achieve company goals, by:collaborating with others.listening and taking time to empathize and understand where others are coming from.showing recognition and appreciation for the contributions of othersWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
