Responsibilities:Serve as primary contact to answer and resolve employee questions/issues regarding benefit plans coverage, design and claim issues.Administers leave of absence policies, time off programs, FMLA, and ADA request, disability leaves to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, insurance plan requirements and agency policies and procedures. Receives, reviews, approves/denies or make special recommendations on requests for leaves of absence under FMLA and ADA/Workers Comp; tracks employee’s use of FMLA, Workers Comp absences. Responsible for benefit processes within HRISCoordinate and manage the COBRA processCoordinate with benefits carriers as needed regarding employee issues, communications, reconciliations, etc. Process and reconciliation of monthly benefits invoicesAssist with open enrollment activitiesDelivers benefit new hire orientationManage the benefits annual calendar of events and informationMonitor and assure company’s compliance with applicable regulationsPrepares and maintains benefit communications on company intranet.Requirements:1-3 years benefits administration experience in a multi-state environmentStrong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, carriers and peersProficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
