The Financial Services Solution Architect team is looking for an extraordinary intern to work with our team of Quants and Data Scientists, developing compelling examples of accelerated computing. Solution Architects work with the top clients in Financial Services (Capital Markets, Consumer Finance, Payments) to accelerate High-Performance Computing and AI workloads across a wide range of use cases. We’re seeking a high-reaching, hard-working, and creative individual who is passionate about helping tackle challenges as well as thrives in taking on HPC and AI workloads.The internship is about being immersed in working closely with NVIDIA’s Solution Architects engaged with clients on approaches to accelerate HPC monte-carlo simulations, pricing, fraud, risk, and time-series AI training an inference for Generative AI workloads. You will maximize your work in Engineering, Physics or Data Science in conjunction with Development while learning from an expert Financial Services Team. This is an outstanding position going beyond just technical skills, working on projects that have a measurable impact on our business. These projects include (but are not limited to) developing GPU-accelerated algorithms for data analysis, machine learning, or deep learning with applications to quantitative finance.What you’ll be doing:Focus on NVIDIA software for HPC algorithmic acceleration.Use AI for improved speed and accuracy of training and inference using NeMO - NVIDIA's Framework to build, customize, and deploy Generative AI Models.Take advantage of skills in research, development, and algorithms.Work on new and existing industry examples used in conversations, workshops, or training.What we need to see:Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related fieldsPrior experience or knowledge requirements include programming skills and technologies such as: Python, C, C++, PyTorch, Linux, Docker, CPU, GPU, and/or Deep Learning, training/customizing Large Language Models.Prior knowledge of financial modeling, workshops, or training.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Exposure to Financial Services – course, research, investment clubTeaching Assistant, Peer MentorMotivated, Self-starter, Team oriented.Familiarity with applied math and statistical analysisNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
