We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.Job Summary The Compliance Senior Analyst takes on Implements and manages the integrated quality management system in Madrid (including ISO27001, PCI-DSS, ISAE3402, SOC 1 & 2, ISO22301, ISO9001, ISO50001, ISO14001, ISO45001), as defined by regional and global leaders, with the objective of ensuring full compliance with standards and regulations.Develops and maintains appropriate and consistent compliance reporting for the territory. This role will manage projects, programmes and maintain consistent standards across the region.ResponsibilitiesStatutory ComplianceMaintains or coordinates an in-depth knowledge of compliance requirements set by regulatory bodies at country levelEnsures compliance area fully masters this topic (health & safety, labor, environmental, permitting), not leaving any gap in fulfilling in a timely manner every single obligation towards regulatory bodiesIs accountable for the extensive record of all up to date, relevant statutory certifications in the data centerStandards ComplianceDrives, under the guidance and with the support of the GEM South Compliance, the Spain portfolio of  standards, certificationsEducates Operation Spain in their continuous improvement journey, commitment to compliance, related training plan definition and execution, auditability readiness, etc.Participates in all audits required by the Compliance roadmap, and ensures the attendance of all interested partiesCoordinates and contributes to the programming of all audits required by the Compliance Country roadmapPromotes the in-house Qualsys tool, methodology and supervises the on-time resolution of recorded actions and encourages local team to resolve them by giving adviceIntervenes on compliance incidents, audit findings, serious HS accidents, to speed resolution and recovery of full compliance statusRegularly audits specific local procedures for correctness (i.e. Permit to Works)Collect and review KPI’s from the country management and provide the Global Compliance Director with appropriate reports for senior management discussionEnsures  documentation for the Management systems remains up to date and appropriate for the business needs.Provides mentoring to the Country Operations team on any compliance matter they are accountable for, making them and their organization more performant in meeting all compliance requirementsQualifications5-year work experience focused on the implementation of integrated management systems for quality and on regulatory compliance, ideally in the data center industry, alternatively in mission critical, IT, network sectorsEvidence of management of quality related certifications portfolio throughout time (initial, renewal, mapping into the acquiring company integrated management system)Experience working/ lead in a matrix environment operating in a multi-country, multi-cultural environmentTraining in the implementation and performance of management systems audits in any of the systems implemented in Equinix, given by an internationally accredited organization.Solid experience leading audits in any of the systems implemented in EquinixResults orientedAbility to think strategicallyGreat communication skillsDiplomacy and excellent listening skillsAdept at balancing short term pressures with overall long term goalsWhat we be offerComprehensive and market-competitive remuneration packagePermanent Health Insurance (PHI)You are entitled to 23 days holiday per annum in addition to any statutory holidaysRestaurant Tickets and partly subsidised mealsEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (‘ESPP’)Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesInternal training/development hub with continuous formative plans available to allAn inclusive, balanced and friendly culture with our embedded ethos in which to strive onEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Data show that many applicants apply for a job when they have 100% of what is required.
