We are a fast-growing team and business making a difference for our customers and their employees.About the RoleWorkday is actively seeking individuals to be a part of the Workday sales team based in Madrid, Spain supporting and promoting the technical aspect of the selling engagement.   Workday’s contemporary technical foundation and delivery model requires creative, passionate and compelling technical sales professionals to reflect the unique nature of the platform.  Through interactive pre-sales discoveries, you will analyze an organization's needs and demonstrate how Workday's Enterprise Applications can address the customer’s requirements and solve their strategic business concerns with the special focus on technical integration in the IT landscape or the customer. Workday also highly values our customers, providing one of the highest rates of customer satisfaction in the industry.Responsibilities:Articulating the value and expanding adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) to different audiences.Describing the technical architecture of the Workday solution.Highlighting the advantages of the Workday architecture over legacy ERP systems.Demonstrating the value of SaaS via the Workday Lifecycle.Understanding and communicating the Security, Privacy, Performance and Support aspects of the Workday SaaS offeringAbout YouYou are a passionate technologist with a strong combination of technical expertise, consultative selling, industry knowledge, and outstanding presentation skills. Have worked in software presales with the below expertise:Basic Qualifications:5+ years of enterprise software presales or value selling experience; or 3+ years of consulting experience in enterprise software or technology with industriesLegacy ERP technology backgroundIntegration design pattern knowledge from flat files to Web servicesSoftware as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of the delivery model and associated characteristicsComprehensive security background covering encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, LDAP, SAML (single sign-on) and application level access methodsExperience with prospect/customer internal security and compliance teams a plusMad presentation skills!This is an opportunity to be part of building something incredible alongside some of the most talented individuals in the market!Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
