Job Requisition ID #23WD73562Position OverviewAs a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will help leverage data to drive informed decision-making within our organization. You will design robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using technologies such as Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, Macheye, and more. Your expertise in UX design, data model design, and working with a semantic layer will be instrumental in delivering user-friendly, insightful, and self-service datasets to our stakeholders. You will report to a manager in Bangalore.ResponsibilitiesBI Solution Development:  Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly BI solutions using Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, Macheye, and other relevant technologiesWrite and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries for improved performanceData Model Design: Create and optimize data models that support business reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performanceSemantic Layer: Develop a semantic layer to facilitate user-friendly and data access and reporting for end-usersUser Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to create visually appealing and intuitive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insightsSelf-Service Datasets: Empower end-users with self-service capabilities, allowing them to access and analyze data independently while ensuring data security and governanceData Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure access to data and reportsDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, data models, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and supportCollaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Experience (typically 5+ years) in developing BI solutions using Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, Macheye, or similar toolsExpertise in data model design and optimizationExperience with UX design principles to create user-friendly dashboards and reportsProficiency in working with semantic layers and creating self-service datasetsSolid understanding of data integration and ETL processesCertification in relevant BI technologies is a plus#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
