As the Director, Platform M&A Integrations you will guide the planning and execution of technology integration with the Autodesk platform, helping shape Autodesk's future.You will be part of our Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) group, collaborating with domain leaders (VP level) from identity, licensing, security, platform infrastructure and other areas to make important technical decisions and resource commitments. With their help, you will represent the platform and technology integration interests from due diligence all the way through post-merger integration, providing impactful input at all stages of the deal. You will lead the pre and post integration activities across multiple transactions to meet each acquisition's respective value drivers. You are expected to evolve the platform M&A integration framework based on insights and industry best practices. This is a visible position and a great opportunity to lead an important area for Autodesk, gain exposure across the organization, accelerate the platform transformation, and ensure Autodesk is a trusted partner to all. You will report to the Senior Director, Program and Business Excellence in PSET.Preference for candidates in the West Coast, United States, to work hybrid/remote from one of our office locations.Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end platform integrations of mergers and acquisitions and monitor their success and completion within agreed upon timeframes.Drive functional due diligence, understand strategic goals, assess risks, and collaboratively develop comprehensive platform integration plans (including resources and budget) that align with the acquisition rationale and lead platform integrationAnticipate opportunities and roadblocks. Balance needs vs technical constraints, and simplify technically complex decisions across all partners to facilitate executive decision- makingCommunicate integration progress across all organizational levels, from individual contributors to senior executives Be a strategic partner and represent platform M&A to business leaders, engineering leaders, and acquired teams, managing program execution, negotiating tradeoffs, and mitigating integration risksDefine and improve organization-wide platform M&A integration framework and process, promoting a continuous improvement (Kaizen) culture based on data and scienceMinimum Qualifications 10+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Software Architect, Software Engineer or similar role, driving large-scale software development programs.Understand the mergers and acquisition life cycle, integration planning and demonstrate familiarity with integration methodologies.Demonstrated ability to understand and manipulate abstract concepts, ideas, or strategies and translate these into actions - ability to apply this skill to solve concrete problems while operating in situations with a high degree of uncertaintyExperienced in building relationships and working together with others, with the ability to guide discussions to achieve shared outcomesEmbody data-driven decision-making while ensuring an inclusive and collaborative cultureCommunication: Ability to extract important messages from detail and translate into audience appropriate messages verbal and in writingPreferred Qualifications Experience with Cloud Services and Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, etc.)Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or other quantitative fields#LI-HR1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $176,800 and $286,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
