The Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team is searching for a Senior Engineer to develop and bring NVIDIA's automotive platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. We have deadlines, customers, and competition.What you'll be doing:Collaborate with software, hardware and systems engineering teams to build software, bring up the software on new AV car platforms and ensure that NVIDIA HW and SW solutions are properly integrated and working in the development vehicles.Regularly engage with customer teams directly to customize, integrate and productize DRIVE platforms.Drive the reliability of the software platform which includes RADAR, LiDAR, Camera sensor processing and fusion.Analyze complex technical issues and independently drive resolution across multiple teams.Contribute to best-practices for building, testing, and releasing software.Work in an environment which involves Hypervisor, Linux, QNX RTOS.What we need to see:BS, MS in CS/CE/EE (or equivalent experience) with 5-7 years in a related field .Excellent C, C++, Python programming skills.Proven experience in embedded systems including bring-up and debugging of SoC-based target hardware boards.Strong debugging skills from application to kernel level and comfortable working across SW/HW domainsMaster of software debugging tools.Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environmentSelf-motivated, organized and proactive.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Prior experience in the Automotive field and in Bazel build system.Familiar with QNX RTOS.Prior experience working with sensors including cameras and radars
