Senior Security Operations Engineer

We are seeking a senior-level distinguished and mission oriented security professional responsible for leading all aspects of the cybersecurity strategy and operational advancement for game testing laboratory within NVIDIA.This role will own strategic direction for managing and reducing risk for various internal NVIDIA’s services. You will work collaboratively with multi-functional teams, corporate systems, and engineering organizations. Contributions will be central to envisioning, creating, and refining strategic recommendations that align with business objectives, drive success and facilitate growth, all while safeguarding NVIDIA and customer assets from potential threats.What you'll be doing:Lead the implementation of the security, data protection and standard methodologies across NVIDIA servicesPromote, recommend and drive new workflows/processes or improvements/changes to existing workflows and processes across the business unitCoordinate translation of regulatory compliance to operational architectures, tools and platformsDrive security reviews, threat analysis, maintain corresponding documentation for existing systems/programs and for new onesReview reports/dashboards/alerts from security scanners, recommend corrective actions for corresponding teams, configure/maintain scans for existing and new pieces of infrastructureWork closely with core security operations team at NVIDIA to align on approaches/methods, provide full documentation/security architecture of business unit's systems for wider reviewBe accountable for the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive cyber security strategy, aligned with business unit's goals and technology advancements, to deliver outstanding security programsStay at the forefront of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, anticipating potential risks and driving proactive measures and updates to our security strategyWhat we need to see:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent experienceA minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cyber securitySolid grasp of security architecture principles and a deep understanding of risk managementSuperb interpersonal skills, ability to present security goals and progress on them to the leadershipExtensive experience collaborating across functions and influencing multi-functional teamsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with storage securityExperience in securing microservice-based systems, KubernetesStrong industry connections and participation in cyber security eventsLeadership experience in global, distributed teamsWith highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the world's most desirable employers in the technology industry.
