Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job DescriptionSummary:As a Staff Software Engineer you will develop and support beautiful and complex web applications used by Genesys customers all over the world. This role may be a yes for you if you are passionate about creating rich and satisfying user experiences that are backed up by clean and well-structured JavaScript, CSS and HTML code.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with international team, including Product Management, QA, UX and the rest of Engineering to identify priorities, participate in architectural and design decisions.Provide design specifications for new features, estimate effort to build.Implement software according to approved design, on time and with quality.Ensure continuous integration of new code, write tests.Participate in code reviews and submit your code for review by others, follow approved best practices and guidelines and help the rest of the team do so.Resolve technical issues promptly, help with customer escalations.Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, report on progress using tracking system.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of software development experienceExcellent JavaScript skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills Desirable Skills:Experience in back-end developmentExperience with TypeScriptFamiliarity with modern JS/TS frameworks AngularJS / React / Vue / Express etc.Hands-on Java experienceHands-on AWS experienceIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
