We work hard and push each other to constantly improve, but in an environment that is considered the best company to work for.About the RoleJoin Workday's Cyber Defense Security Tools Engineering team as a Security Engineer. This position involves architecture design of the security tools with a focus on SIEM, SOAR, Data Lake and automation and the validation of design choices. You will be working closely with the cybersecurity response, network, engineering, and IT teams in coordinating and automating data on-boarding in SIEM and in Security Data Lake. The team you would be on designs, architects, administers and supports a multi-terabyte per day Splunk clusters, SOAR platform, and Data Lakes. The team provides full-service support and Centre of Excellence (CoE) level mentorship to Workday’s internal teams and external customers.ResponsibilitiesDesign and support the next generation of logging strategy as it relates to Data Lakes and SEIM.Design and support the automated deployment of security infrastructure in both Data Centres and in Public CloudInstall, build and maintain Splunk, Cribl, SOAR and related Apps and add-ons Lead cross-team efforts with other internal organizationsSupport team and respond at any time on issues related to security toolingLead key initiatives and goals for the Cyber Defense Security Tools Engineering teamAbout YouBasic QualificationsMinimum of B.S. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
