Overview:Blue Yonder has an opportunity for a Contracts Specialist who will support the legal revenue transactions team and customer sale transactions globally. Core responsibilities include drafting and processing revenue related agreements (including license, maintenance, SaaS and professionalservices agreements), as well as ensuring the company standards and processes are followed for contracting with customers. You will report to the Sr. Director Contracts DeskScope:Oversees maintenance of and updates to contract forms library, contract request forms, and product schedules, including updates of legal terms to keep pace with market. Keeps current with legal developments affecting software licensing, services, and cloud computing, including revenue recognition.​What you’ll do:Review, prepare the initial draft, and negotiate customer and partner-facing software, SaaS and services-related orders, SOWs, agreements, and amendments based on established guidelines.Enforce company contracting guidelines, methodology and standard operating procedures.Identify and escalate commercial, revenue recognition, and legal issues when appropriate.Review non-standard terms and involve necessary teams to obtain approval.Work closely with attorneys to support drafting and obtaining approvals for complex customer agreements.Communicate frequently with cross functional teams including SMEs, Sales, Services, Legal, Finance, Support, Product and Operations to ensure negotiations result in optimal terms and close customer transactions.Review executed customer agreements to ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracy.Assist with the creation, updating, and maintaining of contract templates, playbooks, and SOPs.Administrative tasks and reporting related to revenue contracts.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-related issues, software licensing, SaaS, professional services, and revenue recognition.Support continuous process improvement company wide.Perform other responsibilities and special projects in support of the legal team's goals and initiatives.What we are looking for:4+ years of relevant experience in deal support or contract management role at a SaaS companyExperience drafting and processing complex contracts through a contract lifecycleStrong negotiation, diplomacy, and communication skillsFluent in English, both oral and writtenExperience working with US based technology companiesAbility to prioritize and process high volumes of contracts to align with Sales targets· Understanding of legal, risk, and business impacts to contract language anddeal velocityAbility to analyze contracts and apply basic revenue recognition principlesAn eye for detailAbility to collaborate cross functionally and build strong working relationships with individuals in other departmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Salesforce, Apptus CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, and contract lifecycle management solutions (e.g. Conga, Salesforce Contracts) is a plusExperience as a Paralegal is a plus#LI-RemoteOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
