You'll be a key team member of the Workday Pre-sales Services team, working alongside Workday Account Executives, driving Workday Subscription sales across our market segments.You will use your experience with consulting sales and project delivery to help prospects put together a plan for a successful project, including resources, timeline, and costs. You’ll employ effective selling strategies to optimally position Workday’s SaaS Solutions and Platform technologies as the efficient, modern alternative. You will work closely with Workday Service Partners to help them plan successful projects and grow their business. If you have a stellar consulting delivery and sales track record, are a self-starter, and love working in a dynamic environment, then Workday is the place for you.What you’ll do:Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can efficiently position the value of Workday’s deployment methodology and Professional ServicesWork closely with the Account Executive to understand FSI customers business challenges and optimally position Workday services to drive incremental valuePresent Workday Customer Services overview and conduct services discovery sessions.Build and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project PlansNurture mutually useful relationships with our Service PartnersAssess project team training needs for prospects and customersMaintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and service forecast dataLead, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work and other contractual documentationProvide support for services activities and eventsAbout YouBasic QualificationsDemonstrated experience leading ERP implementation projects – for example, Financial systems, Analytics, Budgeting/Planning, Recruiting, Human Resources, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll, Performance Management, Compensation, or comparable, as well as delivering large-scale systems implementation projects, with Higher Education and/or Government customers strongly preferredProven experience in Professional Services sales, preferably in ERP-Financials, and/or HCM/Payroll solutionsProfessional qualifications in Accounting and FinanceOther QualificationsConsistent record in handling sophisticated services sales cycles from start to finish with successful service revenue and profitability attainment preferredUnderstand and can optimally explain the benefits of cloud architectureSolid understanding of vendors, products, and services in the HCM, Payroll, Financials enterprise application spaceGreat presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced, sophisticated product and services sales cycleStrong attention to detail and experience with commercial processes and tools, including RFP responses, project calculation and/or estimation tools, and scope description and/or contract documentationAbility to travelOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
