We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The OpportunityAdobe is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our 3D and Immersive organization to help plan, design, develop, and test software to help our customers get the most out of 3D content in their e-commerce, web, and augmented reality needs.We are looking for a skilled software engineer with deep experience in building real-time 3D content pipelines and web editors to help build, integrate, debug, and add features to a cloud-based 3D asset preparation system.What You’ll DoDrive the development of high-performance, reliable, testable and maintainable codeParticipating in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentationHelp design and architect modular solutions that can be adapted for multiple applicationsDevelop experiments to explore tradeoffs between various possible implementations of 3D asset pipelinesMentor junior engineersWork both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communicationWhat You Need to SucceedA Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related field and 5+ years of experience developing 3D softwareStrong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency and experience with most of the following: TypeScript, Python, WebGL, ReactJS, and C++Some experience with BabylonJS, Three.js, or similar platformsAn understanding of the structure of GLTF and USD formats, texture and material formats, etc.Familiar with the software development lifecycle - designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web and mobile appsResults-oriented, with the ability and interest in learning new technologies and adapting quickly to new requirements and environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations#CPP-All1Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,400 -- $275,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
