The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, leading sales teams, and developing strong customer relationships. This role will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets.Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Canadian market.Set ambitious revenue and growth targets and create a roadmap to achieve them.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide coaching and guidance to sales managers and representatives to meet and exceed targets.Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales and other departments.Performance Metrics:Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on sales team performance.Implement data-driven strategies to optimize sales processes and enhance efficiency.Take proactive measures to address any deviations from sales targets.Compliance and Ethics:Ensure that all sales activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.Promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the sales team.Qualifications:Minimum of 12 years relevant experience in sales and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience (MBA preferred).Proven track record of at least 10 years in progressively more senior sales leadership roles.Extensive experience in business to business (B2B) sales, preferably in Technology/Software, Software as a Service (SaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), or related industry.Strong understanding of the Canadian market and business landscape including regional dynamics, cultural nuances, and industry trends.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making is vital for optimizing sales processes, forecasting accurately, and identifying areas for improvement Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.Willingness to travel as required.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below.
