Financial Analyst - Merger and AcquistionsDescription -CFR (Corporate Financial Reporting) is hosted in Worldwide Controllership Organization and is custodian of HP Inc. US GAAP Policy & Compliance with annual revenue of $52B+ globally. The CFR M&A team supports HP’s M&A initiatives by providing support as well as leading due diligence, technical accounting, valuation, opening statement finalization and integration activities.The key responsibilities of this role will include:Supporting M&A deals in Due Diligence, Forecast Reviews and Acquired entity accounting (Apogee Entities for this specific role)Being part of a team that consults clients across all sectors and project manages transactionsParticipating in meetings and presentations to clients across the business areas and geographiesManages external vendors as needed (e.g., auditors and consultants).Assess complex financial analysis for a global business or finance function, exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business.Actively reviews, analyses, and manages the key controls within the domain of responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SBC, AFM).Supporting acquired company policy integrations.Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point Presentations).Excellent communication and influencing skills.Superior teamwork and rapport building skillsStrong business acumen.Good project/time management skills.Candidate must have a can do attitude, and be able to go the extra mile to delivery objectives in a time constrained stressful environment.Education and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification.Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.Typically experienced in more than one finance function.#LIPOSTJob -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
