Quality Project/ Program managerDescription -Project Management role, working within the Warranty, Quality & Consumer Services (WQCS) team within HP Customer Support (CSSD), as part of the Business Process and Optimization team.Project Manager Role:Leads large, cross-functional teams / projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving those objectives.Mastery and recognized authority on Strategic Program Management, with a comprehensive knowledge of technologies, theories, and techniques.Develops and leads Business Process Optimisation programs, to identify and resolve deficiencies in process. Standardising, simplifying globally, supporting process automation wherever possible.Counsels regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training.Responsibilities: Effectively lead strategic, complex, and cross functional customer support transformation programs, in alignment with customer support priorities.Drive and deploy programs across multiple markets, theatres, and functions, managing the interdependencies of those strategic programs.Governance, communication and influencing at Leadership team level.Manage program risk, early identification, and remedial action.Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external partners, own responsibility for overall program resource management.Innovate, identify, and progress large scale Business Process Optimization, Automation and Digitization.Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization.Reviews and evaluates program plans for compliance with program management guidelines and standard. Provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.Expand the quality improvement process and quality culture across all Customer Support functions.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) and other Quality certifications are essential / prerequisites for this role.Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification strongly preferred.Typically, 10+ years’ experience.Knowledge and Skills: Experienced in successfully driving and delivering LSS (Lean Six Sigma) programs and initiatives, cross functionally.Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of data analytics and generative AI and how to leverage those capabilities.Skilled at designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of Organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit / function programs.Effective communication skills, ability to convey information to diverse teams, stakeholders in a complex and global environment.Stakeholder management, effective engagement and relationship management cross the organisation.Ability to drive change, to adapt to evolving circumstances within a project and deploy appropriate change management.History of innovation and transformation, with the ability to demonstrate your contribution to those programs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
