Senior Financial Analyst, Applications FP&AStatus: Exempt (Salaried) Department: Finance/AccountingPosition SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst, Applications FP&A role is an integral position in the financial operations team and Applications Business Unit. This role is critical to help drive strategic decision making within the Applications space based upon the measurement of financial data. This position plays a key role in business initiatives including:  planning/forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating financial performance in the business unit. The Senior Financial Analyst must also be available to help develop custom reporting and provide fact-based guidance upon request for various Applications business purposes and will need to be comfortable translating information and communicating at all levels of the organization to help drive strategic decision making. This role requires a high degree of data-driven analytical support and operational communications with the Applications team. Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of budgets, financial forecasts, operating plans and modeling tools Analyze financial and operational results within the Applications business unitDocument and communicate to management product group / department performance and results against budget and forecastAnalyze financial trends for the different product groups in the business unitClosely partner with the sales and operations team to understand the ongoing business activity pipelineLeverage Business Intelligence tools to reduce manual work and automate financial reportingPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis as defined by the operations leadership team for business needsAssist the Commercial Finance team on banking needs and commercial structuresDevelop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of department and business objectives through collaboration and communicationProvide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information to management for decision makingRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting/FinanceFour (4) or more years of related work experienceFinancial systems configuration experienceDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailSuperior communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office softwareAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyAbility to role model high standards of professionalismExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work qualityPay Rate:$62,700.00 - $94,050.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
