Your potential is waiting; why are you?Summary:We are looking for a talented Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our AI Team and help building products and services to bring the benefits of our technology to Genesys Customers.As an SDET, you will be designing and developing automated test frameworks that help guarantee the quality of our software. You will be working on tools and infrastructure challenges involving machine learning and software engineering to deliver AI powered conversational solutions.As a member of a cross functional development team, you will be building and testing new features, ensuring scalability and availability of the entire platform and delivering high quality code.We also have a strong focus on Continuous Delivery with a DevOps mindset which will also give you an opportunity to work and leverage technologies such Jenkins, Ansible, AWS and Docker. Key Responsibilities:Work with Senior SDET- QA and DevOps engineers in order to expand existing test automation solutions and create new ones.Write automated functional acceptance tests at the API and UI levelExploratory Testing to ensure functional and usability integrity.Performance/Load Testing to ensure product meet scalability needs.Contribute as a delivery team member through an Agile Scrum methodology representing QA concerns.Minimum Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines1-2 years of experience in Software Development in Test.Experience developing automation in at least one of the following OO languages – Java/C#, Python, JavaScript.Experience working with UI test automation frameworks such as selenium.Experience working within Agile software development frameworks.You have a DevOps mindset and champion Continuous Delivery best practices.You are curious, self-driven, and ask the right questions.Desirable Skills:Experienced with API test automation frameworks such as Requests or REST Assured.Experience with Javascript/Protractor based UI test frameworks.Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems such as Jenkins or similar.Experienced with web applications and microservices.Experience with Amazon Web Services.Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
