Responsible for the execution of all HR services and processing queries up to Tier 2. Assists with Tier 3 queries and special projects.ResponsibilitiesLeave and Absence ManagementSupport our employees and managers through the LOA processes;Support leave management processes, focusing on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations (FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA Accommodation, Maternity and Paternity leaves, workers compensation) for US and Canada;Ensure clear communication with our stakeholders (Payroll, Benefits team, legal and HRBA) and external vendor;Manage employee data, leave data and audits;Build and update internal knowledge, trainings and process map;Create material to support our employeesLife Cycle and System UpdatesExecutes all Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee lifecycle change processes and additional Tier 2 processes, such as Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, standard reporting and LOA'sLeverages process knowledge to guide employees through lifecycle changes, customizing the solution to fit individual needsUtilizes expertise to resolve complex issues, and often acts as a team lead or resource to others. Point of escalation is team lead/ managerIdentifies trends and initiates process improvements with Manager or HRSS Project and Services TeamUnderstands trade offs and when to escalateUnderstands end to end processes deeply and can easily assist in all steps of a multiple step process.
