The CXO team mission is to help scale the Workday application platform and power the next wave of customer growth and opportunity at Workday. We do this by providing software development language compilation/transpilation tooling that supports transformation and optimisation and execute on our corresponding application runtime that is both fast and scalable. About the RoleThe Workday Developer Platforms CXO team is responsible for building out a new compiler, runtime, and proprietary language support for our internal application development teams. Working in a team of highly experienced software engineers and automation engineers, you will build the next generation of Workday's tool set for building enterprise applications.How you'll helpOn any given day, you will build out our suite of test automation scripts, conduct manual verification tests on key features, optimize our approach to software quality, and work with cross functional teams to better understand our users' problems.Basic Qualifications3-5+ years of experience in some or all of the following: Java, Scala, REST, JSON, CI/CDDesigning and building automation suites for our various web components and frameworksExperience with one or more of the following applications is expected: TeamCity, WATS, Jenkins, ANT, TestNG, JMeter, LoadRunner, Cucumber, SeleniumWorking with environments and DevOps team to ensure efficient and stable buildsTroubleshooting production issues and implementing resilient tests to prevent future issuesOther QualificationsSolid foundation of QA methodology, testing techniques and approachesGood understanding of object-oriented programming and TDD development principlesDemonstrable experience with delivering high quality software products within a full development lifecycle.See the value in documenting and gradually implementing best practicesAbout YouExperience with Workday XpressO Language and WATS testing tools is a distinct advantage.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
