At Twilio, we support diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business.   About the job As a Technical Content Strategist at Twilio, you will be a pivotal force in shaping and executing our content strategies, ensuring they resonate with and effectively reach our developer audience. You will curate (90%) and, at times, create content (10%) that not only empowers and enhances the developer experience but also fuels engagement with our suite of products and services. Your role will extend beyond content creation to collaborate with diverse teams within and outside the Developer Network (DevNet), including UX Research, Product Managers, and more. This collaboration will involve translating user research insights and business objectives into a cohesive content strategy for developer-focused content.   Your influence will be critical in not only articulating the technical aspects of our offerings but also in curating content that resonates with developers at every stage of their experience, supporting top-of-funnel growth. You will leverage your understanding of our products, the developer landscape, and your strategic content expertise to curate, refine, and elevate the content shared within the developer community.   Your insights and guidance will actively shape our content narrative, maintaining a unified message that aligns with Twilio's objectives and developer community needs. Your role will be instrumental in upholding Twilio's commitment to delivering high-value content that educates, inspires, and ultimately fosters a vibrant and engaged developer community. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for developer audiences, by aligning with business objectives and the needs of the developer audience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within DevNet to ensure curated technical content supports top-of-funnel growth and drives developer engagement by aligning strategies across different teams. Conduct in-depth research to understand developer preferences, pain points, and interests in order to curate content that resonates with them. Ensure content is well-structured, optimized for search engines, and adheres to best practices for user experience and accessibility. Implement content distribution strategies across various platforms, including developer documentation, the Twilio blog, developer forums, social media, newsletters, and relevant online communities. Use analytics tools to track the performance of developer content, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.   Qualifications  Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts. Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and content management systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technology and developer communities.   Desired: Some proficiency in any modern programming language, tools, and platforms for the purpose of understanding the development process. Collaboration skills and ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with key stakeholders. Experience working specifically with Tableau, Airtable, Google Analytics, GSuite, Allocadia, Agiloft, Salesforce.   Location This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.   Other Notes *Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.   The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: Based in Colorado: $145.520.00-$181,900.00. Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $154,080.00-$192,600.00. This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
