The Autonomous Vehicles DriveWorks team is searching for engineers to develop and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle system to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. Work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and very meaningful. We have customers and competition.What you will be doing:Design and implement Autonomous Vehicles software platforms, including kernel modifications/extensions, driver implementation/enhancement, performance/power optimization, stress/stability/compliance testIntegrate the full-stack software including AV application, DNN, and kernel together to build the start-of-art Automotive Vehicle platformsDrive the reliability of the software platform which includes RADAR, LiDAR, Camera sensor processing, and fusionWork towards the best user experience, internally and externallyAnalyze complex technical issues and independently drive resolution across multiple teamsWork in an environment that involves Linux & QNX RTOS.What we need to see:BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or related areasFluent in C/C++, Linux bash shell and Agile developmentWilling to learn software architecture designStrong Linux kernel, low-level system software experienceAbility and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environmentSelf-motivated and a good teammateEmbedded system, SW/HW cross-domain knowledgeWays to stand out from the crowd:Strong debugging skills from application to kernel levelWorked with CAN and tools, RADAR, LiDARFamiliarity with cloud-based workflowsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
