This role requires a self-motivated professional that consistently brings a high level of dedication to projects and Workday teammates along with the ability to strategically and tactically navigate the unique challenges that innovation brings.Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Essential responsibilities of team members include collaboration, cooperation and high-quality results.Analyze and monitors compliance with financial, reporting, and legal requirements.Demonstrate ownership of payroll process you are responsible for.Audit individual employee pay records and reconcile totals by department, location, country, etc.Process new hires, terminations, and employee changesProcess garnishments from all states and provide interrogatories as requiredOversee timekeeping practices; audit and prepare documentation and train employees as neededAssist with payroll audits for each pay cyclePrepare verification of employment when requestedReconcile employee deductions and employer costs to third party paymentsUnderstand all aspects of Workday pay cycle to effectively assist with testing end-to-end functionalityMaintain Service Hub requests and agreed upon SLAsIdentifies and implements system improvement opportunitiesPartner with various groups to ensure cross-functional needs are metServe as backup for other payroll team membersPrepare SOP documentation and train employees as neededAbout YouBasic Qualifications3+ years experience processing payroll in medium size or larger organization1 + year of previous processing experience using Workday.Advanced MS Excel skillsOther Qualifications BS Degree in HR, Finance, Accounting work experience considered in lieu of degreeCPP preferredUnderstanding Accounting and SOX controlsProven ability to work well under pressure with problem solving capabilities.International payroll processing experience preferredDemonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-throughCollaborative team player; ability to work in cross-functional teamsPrior experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, or other ERPWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
