MTS 2, Software Engineer

eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 2, Software Engineer in Portland, ORJob Duties: Lead technical discussions, participate in code reviews, and guide the team in software engineering best practices. Develop and build secure, highly available, and highly scalable systems software and applications on the full stack. Own and drive complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution. Implement new programming sequences that remove coding bottlenecks. Test software products and features for performance, security, and compatibility issues. Ensure technical quality and incorporate secure computing practices in every phase of software development life cycle. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered, as a software engineer, or a related occupation. Special Skill Requirements:1.    Java2.    HTML3.    JS or CSS4.    REST or JSON5.    XML6.    Spring7.    SQL8.    Apache Tomcat9.    System design10.    Shell ScriptingMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
