eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Modify and enhance a functional domain to design cross data center distributed, fault tolerant, highly available and performant web services and web applications by leveraging software architecture design, OOA/D skills in addition to exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Drive major application projects and perform coding, testing, deployment, and support of newly developed products and features. Estimate engineering effort; plan implementation, and rollout system changes. Mentor junior team members on proper coding and quality assurance processes. Identify project technical risks and make recommendations to mitigate. Develop highly scalable distributed platforms and services and internet scale web applications.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus eighteen months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Special Skill Requirements: (1) MVC;(2) MySQL;(3) Jenkins;(4) Oracle;(5) Python;(6) JavaScript;(7) JQuery;Base salary:  $184,662-234,850 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
